Daemar, the Canadian distributor of Caplugs, announces the introduction of a new line of product protection designed specifically for specialty, medical and industrial compressed gas cylinders and CGA valves. The full line includes protective netting for cylinders, caps for valves with external threads, plugs for valves with internal threads, protective valve sleeves and reusable tethered vinyl caps.
The Oxygen Cylinder Post Valve Sleeve is designed for any 900 Series medical post valve. The sleeve provides quick and easy installation, use-evident protection and superior protection against contamination.
The Universal Use-Evident Cap/Plug Strap is designed for use on any industrial compressed gas cylinder valve and is sized to fit a full range of CGA-listed valves. With a unique dual locking system, the strap can be used as either a valve cap or a valve-plug, while providing tamper evidence.

To meet the growing needs of industry in Western Canada, Daemar expands their Fluid Sealing category to now include a complete product line of seals and kits for Hydraulic and Pneumatic cylinders. Targeted towards Oil & Gas equipment, pumps and heavy equipment. Cylinder Seals and Seal Kits for major brands of heavy equipment, e.g. Caterpillar, John Deere, Hitachi & Komatsu are also available. “We can now offer our Oil & Gas equipment, pumps and heavy equipment customers a single source for all of their sealing needs.”

Daemar announces the retirement of Doug Fox from his position of Product Manager. Doug has been with Daemar since the company’s early days and was an instrumental part of the Daemar’s expansion into new markets across Canada and the U.S.A.. Doug has held a myriad of positions through out his career at Daemar from Sales Representative, Branch Manager, National Sales Manager and his most recent assignment as Product Manager. His industry experience and product knowledge have always been a valuable resource for the organization and his presence within the company will be missed.

Daemar, the Canadian distributor of Caplugs, announces the introduction of a new Flange Protection Guide. The guide outlines the full line of Flange Protection products available through Daemar including: full-face protectors, stud-hole protectors, vinyl flange covers and outside fitting covers. Caplugs parts provide protection for both raised-face and full-face flanges on pipes ranging in size from .5 inches to 60 inches.

Daemar is pleased to announce that our Vice President of Operations David Copping has recently obtained his CFSP certification.  The Certified Fluid Sealing Professional program is designed to recognize and promote those individuals who are engaged in the fluid sealing industry in any of the application, sales, service, installations, or manufacturing processes.
